Auction Details
Welcome to our special end-of-the-year timed auction!
Yes, this sale is different from our normal catalog sales. You can bid starting right now and until the item comes up on Saturday or Sunday. There won't be a live audio/video feed since there won't be an auctioneer/podium.
PLEASE NOTE: To get the bidding going, we have already lowered opening prices on EVERY lot in this sale! The prices WILL NOT be dropped again.
The items are a mix of old and new items. For the old items, this may be your last chance to buy it before it goes home--so don't miss the opportunity if you're interested. There is also a lot of new material in here, especially the second session that has a great new batch of postcards from the Ken Prag Collection.
Within the old and the new items, there are some FANTASTIC and RARE pieces in this sale. Many categories are represented, including railroad and steamer passes, rare California and Nevada mining stocks, coins and tokens, jewelry, checks, billheads, covers, postcards, and more. Be sure to click through the whole auction!
This special event is being hosted exclusively on iCollector, our preferred auction platform. We like to say that the "i" in iCollector must stand for "intelligent" because the platform is so well-designed and easy-to-use for both bidders and auctioneers! If this is your first time using them, we think you'll really enjoy the experience.
If you have any questions or need help placing an absentee bid, please call our office at 775-851-1859
Everyone at Holabird's wishes you a safe and happy holiday season!
And stay tuned because some very exciting items are coming to the collecting market in 2023!
