Welcome to the “Rush to the Rockies” Auction, our second exciting summer sale of 2022!

This 4-day event has a little over 2,000 lots in numerous categories, including Bottles, Native Americana, Numismatics, Mining, Philatelic, Stocks, and General Americana.

*Gary Bracken Collection, Part II*
Our July 2022 sale was our introduction to the marvelous and expansive collection of Ponca City, Oklahoma collector Gary Bracken. That sale featured our first round of Colorado and Oklahoma bottles, as well as rare ancient coins and Western tokens. And we set records in those categories!
This exciting second round features: Colorado bottles (incl. whiskey flasks, sodas, jugs, and beer); Colorado & Kansas postal history and rare Colorado revenue checks; Colorado, Nevada, & Texas tokens and key tags; Colorado photographs, advertising, & ephemera; a spectacular collection of Native American points (arrowheads) and stone tools; and another round of rare ancient coins.

We’ve been lucky enough to sell Joe’s world-class Nevada collection over the past couple of years, including his fabulous Nevada postal history and mining stock certificates.
This sale features a new group of Nevada mining stocks, including over 60 different Nevada territorial mining stock certificates! This group has great rarities and autograph pieces. Nevada collectors, you don’t want to miss this!

*Jim & Barbara Sherman Private Western Mining Museum Collection, Part II*
We were thrilled to sell rare Western firearms, Wild West autographs & artifacts, and mining collectibles from this collection in our July sale.
This round features more rare militaria (including sabers and bayonets), a cannon from the 1600s, shipwreck artifacts, rare mining artifacts, and more.

*Colorado Mining Collection, Part I*
This auction features an introduction to an unnamed Colorado mining collection which we will be selling over numerous sales. This collection includes some of the best Colorado mining stocks we’ve ever offered. Stay tuned!

This round includes more Montana ephemera including important mining archives, as well as advertising, and history libraries.
