1) California Mining Company. Virginia Mining District, Storey County, Nevada (printed under title). No. 96517, issued for 5 shares to E.A. Richardson. on Dec. 23, 1879 in SF.

2) Bullion Mining Company. Located in Gold Hill Dist. (printed above title). No. 34216, issued for 100 shares to McDonell & Ryan on July 9th, 1896. Signed by president Thomas Cole and secretary William Bowers. Not cancelled.

3) Nevada Creamery & Commercial Co. Inc. Oct. 21, 1891. No. 69, issued for 7,200 shares to Julius C. Kaupisch on July 5th, 1892 in Carson City. Signed by president E. Williams and secretary TR Hofer. Not cancelled. Dark blue border and print, small state seal vignette. Appeal Print. 4 x 10" Pinholes, folds, creases. This company made and sold condensed milk, cheese, and butter from milk supplied by member farms in the Carson, Mason and Smith Valleys, Nevada; Lyon County, Nevada; and Novato, in Marin County, California. In 1892, they became the California-Nevada Creamery Company. TR Hofer was an imporant banking figure in Carson City and also once served as the superintendent for the Carson City Mint. 4) Enterprise Gold & Silver Mining Co. Stock. Inc. March 21, 1865 in Pennsylvania. No. 164, issued for 15 shares to James M. Martin on March 8th, 1866 in Philadelphia. Signed by president H.G. Sickel and treasurer John L. Thackeray. Not cancelled. Blue seal, red print and two mining vignettes (surface and underground). Printed by John Alexander, Philadelphia.7 x 11" Twenty-five cent IR stamp attached at right and bottom left. Deep folds, pinholes, tape repair. The Enterprise owned a claim of the same name on Last Chance Hill in Aurora, Esmeralda County during 1865-66. Not surprising to see the company incorporated in Pennsylvania, as this was an active period of investment in Nevada mines by Pennsylvanians. 5) Goldfield-Oro Mining Company Stock Certificate Collection. Lot of 6. Four different varieties. 1) Two issued in 1907, one cancelled, with gold highlight in title, griffin vignette. Inc. in AZ Territory, 1904. Pinholes, folds. 2) Different version issued in 1907, punch cancelled, green border with turtle vignettes. Folds, pinholes. 3) Two stocks issued in 1914 and 1915, green border with allegorical vignette. Pinholes, folds with some separation, bends. 4) Version issued in 1917 with orange border and mining vignette. Heavy folds with some separation, toning. According to the Mines Register, 1918, the Goldfield-Oro Mining Company had 33 acres developed to 800 feet depth. $40 assays reported in 1916. Also developing the Vulture Mine in the Wonder District.
