10) Declaration of Homestead, recorded at the request of Dixon Brabban on April 17, 1882. Dated 1878, Plumas County, signed by witness C.M. Pike and Jesus Bustillos. Bustillos was a very important figure in Rabbit Creek (La Porte), as he made access to the camp possible by working his 125 mule as a pack train starting in the Spring 1850.
