This document is a request by Caleb Jakes of Hampton County, New York on June 22, 1791 requesting payment for services rendered during the Revolutionary War for 15 pounds, 11 shillings, and 11 pence while under the command of Capt. John Sopham. Witnessed by Barry Jakes the 4th. Sealed and in the presence of List W. Williams and James Brown. Size 7 1/2 in. X 12 in. Light folds and tear good condition.
