#677. Warrant to pay Benjamin B. Thompson $100.00 on January 13, 1860. "Clerk to Code Commissioners in 1855 & 6." This would have been during the formation of the Territory of Nebraska. The really interesting historical piece is on the back. "Presented January 21, 1860 and not paid for want of funds, WW Wymon, Territorial Treasurer." It was then singed over to A Conkling(?) who eventually received $118.36 cents with interest. Cancelled.
