Tavern license bond issued to Martin Fogt, William Dietrichsen and Louis B. Goodman on the town of Callicoon, Sullivan County, New York, on May 15th, 1869. "Martin Fogt intends to keep and Inn, Tavern or Hotel at North Branch in the town of Callicoon...and has applied for a license to sell strong and spiritous liquors and wines..." but he "will not suffer it to be disorderly, or suffer any gambling or keep any gaming table of any description within the Inn, Tavern, or Hotel..." Signed by all 3. 25 cent revenue stamp attached bottom left. 12 x 7.5" Folds, large stains, a few tears. The town was formed in 1842.
