Confederate States October 2, 1862 Atlanta Cover. Stamped with 'DUE 10.' Addressed to Miss Fannie Boyd of Dahlonega, Ga. Letters have surfaced from Fannie Boyd of Dahlonega to here father Colonel Wier Boyd. This very well may have held a letter from Colonel Boyd back to his daughter. Wier Boyd was a Dahlonega attorney before the war and on March 16, 1862 made colonel of a newly formed in northeast Georgia.Some staining. Very strong strike!!!
