8 pages. Full-page color map showing the position of the mine in Canada East (L. Prang & Co., Boston). Located in the parish of St. Flavien. Notations throughout, including this on the last page: "It will be remembered that this is reported as a very rich "Copper mine" that the gold is unusual + so much extra." Jackson ends his report by saying that no gold was found in 100 grains of ore, and if gold were to be found, it would be in the iron pyrites and in the gossan or decayed walls of the lode.
