Issued by Edward G. Tileston & Co., Bankers, and Havre Steamship Company's Agents, 74 Franklin Street, Boston. Printed by Geo. C. Rand & Avery, Boston, 1863. Two full page maps in the front: Plan showing the position of St. Margaret;s Copper Mine in Canada East and a closer view, both done by L. Prang & Co. Lith., Boston. Two shafts have been sunk to a depth of 12 fathoms and cross-cutting on the lodes has been done to 40 fathoms. Bennet notes green carbonates and yellow copper. It seems one of the chief partners to the company has died in England, prompting the sale of the mine. Ends with assay results. String binding. Condition: original front cover, missing back cover.
