By Samuel A. Chapin & J. A. Veatch. Boston. Printed by Alfred Mudge & Son, 1865. 24pp. discussing the Gold Hill Front Lodes on the Comstock range, N.T. Surveyed July 1864, by N. Wescoatt and John Allen Veatch. Originally located Sept. & Oct. 1859, the property is situated between the Yellow Jacket and Justice Mines. Made to accompany report of Dr. J.A. Veatch. The statement and report were to call attention to the sale of the Uncle Sam Senior and the Gold Canon mines located within the limits of Gold Hill, Nevada. The report states that these parts of the Comstock Lode have been pronounced by the most scientific engineers and chemists in the country to be the most valuable ever discovered. Also includes a report from Adelberg & Raymond. The two lodes lay parallel to each other at one to two hundred feet which greatly adds to the value of the property and facilitating easy and successful development. The report contains affirmations and statements from various persons to the value of the two mines. Original salmon printed wrappers. Joint split, but otherwise fine and bright.
