Fascinating Nevada document. 2 pages. Resolutions of the Legislature of Nevada in favor of Increasing the size and capacity of the mint being erected in Carson City. The resolution lays out the costs for a miner in Nevada (the Comstock) to covert bullion to coin, either through a private assayer, banker or the San Francisco Mint. It argues that it would be cheaper and thus more beneficial to all if the Carson City mint were large enough to process ALL the bullion produced in Nevada. H.G. Blasdell is listed as governor. Disbound with some staining along edges. The mint didn't fully begin operations until 3 years later in 1870. 9" x 5.75" City: Carson City State: Nevada, Date: Inventory# 34766
