Two large format (4x7") stereoviews featuring cannons on display at the exhibition. Cards include The 20 Ton Rodman Gun with cannon balls stacked next to it and an interior view of the Machinery Hall with two large cannons in the foreground. Some soiling, but nice contrast. The Rodman stereoview has two small dents and some scratches. Made by the Centennial Photographic Co. The Rodman Gun was an American Civil War-era cannon that were hollow cast, allowing them to be cast iron and much stronger. They were designed to be mounted in fortifications along the coast and could fire both shot and shell. (Prag Collection) Date: Location: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania HWAC # 50997
