A personal letter to Mr. William A. Chance of Nevada, Ohio written in 1879 by a woman identifying herself as 'Cousin Nannie'. Nannie writes from a town in Ohio beginning with the word "Deer' and ending with the letter E, though the rest of the postmark is illegible. In the letter, she updates William about the planting season as well as the family, neighbors, and hiring of a new farmhand.
