Lot of 17 different large format (4x7") strereoviews for the 1884/1885 World's Fair, also known as the World Cotton Centennial, held in New Orleans. Both interior and exterior views, including: multiple views of Kansas exhibit, multiple Main Building (int.), Government & States Building (ext.), Ohio exhibit (int.), Dakota animals exhibit (int.), Chicago & Milwaukee exhibit (int.), G.&S. Building (int.), Apple Exhibit in Horticultural Hall (int.), Minnesota Section (int.), Reception on Rex (int.), New Hampshire Section (int.), Mexican Court (int.), and one feat. a small sailboat. Condition is fair, with some cards bent/warped and soiling. The fair was also known as the World's Industrial and Cotton Centennial Exposition. The fairgrounds encompassed 249 acres and could be entered directly by railway, steamboat, or ocean-going ship.
