Two great numismatic items. 1) Papier mache woman's shoe (5.5" long x 1.5" wide x 2" tall) made from $3,000 macerated US currency, 1892. The Federal Reserve had private contractors make these souvenir pieces to try and get the public interested in currency. Usually, these were top hats. A woman's shoe is not common. 2) Green's Mail Bid Auction Sale of Rare Coins and Paper Money catalog, 1954, Chicago. Approx. 50 pages with some black and white photographs. 8" x 5.5" State: United States City: Date: FHWAC#: 43518
