Lot of 9 different nicer stereoviews for the Louis & Clark Centennial Exhibition held in Portland, Oregon in 1905 to celebrate the centennial of the Louis & Clark Expedition. While not an officially designated World's Fair, it was informally regarded as one and drew 1.6 million visitors over 4 months. 1) Three cards that appear to be from the same photographer, although only one is stamped "Watson Fine Art Co., Portland, Ore." on reverse. Views of inside California Building, exterior of Forestry Building, and unlabeled exterior view. 2) One stereoview from John M. Symth Co. showing exterior of an unnamed building. 3) One Keystone: 15459--Washington State Building from Foreign Palace. 4) Four from HC White Co.: 8619-Government Building & Guild's Lake, 8608-Government Building & Bridge of Nations, 8616-Experimental Gardens, Trail & Government Building, and 8610-Lewis & Clark Ave. Medium contrast, overall good condition.
