Brass, 25mm, looped Unc; Second, a 1910 uniface medal celebrating the centenary of Mexican Independence with portraits of Hidalgo (Independence), Diaz (Peace), and Juarez (Reform), 32mm, looped, F, Reverse scratches, some may spell out Libra; Third, a 1910 silver medal with a facing portrait of Hidalgo, reverse celebrates the centenary of Mexican Independence, signed by Whitehead & Hoag on the reverse. Silver, 25mm, looped AU; Fourth is a 1910 centenary medal issued by cartographic company F. A. Labadie, in brass, 21.5mm, AU, removed loop; and fifth is a 1910 Mexican Centenary of Independence with Father Hidalgo standing, “Father speaks to you the Mexican people: you gave the noble old man life, the reverse commemorates the presidency of Diaz. The reverse is engraved, Colonia Alemana, likely linking the medal to the German settlements in Chiapas encouraged by Diaz and Bismark. Silver, 33mm, AU with hanger and ribbon.
