Talk about a town with a history: it is famous as a town full of saloons and outlaws. It is named for a the town was nicknamed "Six-Shooter Siding." It became in 1901 when the Rock Island Railroad came through this desert spot. Slowly the town and its surrounding villages were abandoned. But Route 66 came through here and it once again sprang to life. It is named for an Apache Indian chief who lost his daughter (Cari) and two finest braves (one was Tocom) and his own life when he was looking for a suitable replacement. It has been used as a backdrop for the television show "Rawhide", movie "For a Few Dollars More", etc. Lot of two. 1) Black and white real photo postcard.
