On May 4, 1930 the SP derailed - and I mean derailed - near Mina. The Nevada State Journal reported that the all cars - like four of them - derailed. Engineer CP Devine was killed. Passengers were shaken up, but had only minor injuries. Weather was to blame. Seven photos. Largest two are postcards. From the personal collection of Hugh Shamberger. Most photos identified by/for Hugh on the front or the back. City: Mina State: Nevada Date: HWAC# 49970
