This is an Exhibits postcard featuring German Heavyweight boxer Max Schmelling. Schmelling beat Joe Louis in 1936, but was knocked out by Louis in the first round two years later. Often referred to as a puppet for Hitler's propaganda machine, Schmelling became a hero to the German people after the war. This card is in good condition. See photos for more detail.
