Beautiful finished wood with complex design over speaker area. Coin slots for 5, 10 and 25 cent options. Round button selector with 12 selections at right. This is the Wurlitzer Simplex Multi-Selector model, Model P-30, made in 1935. Several varieties were made, and this machine has the three coin option. Overall width 36”, depth 24”, height 52”. This machine is in working condition, holds twelve 78rpm records, but has some issues with the coin slots which would need replacement. The machine is in excellent working condition, lights up beautifully, and is a real showpiece. It was in a Reno, Nevada collection for a few decades. The Wurlitzer was invented by the Wurlitzer family of Saxony, musical instrument manufacturers since the 1600’s. In 1896 they created the first electrical coin-op piano, and in 1933 came up with the coin-op electrical phonograph. Date: Location: HWAC# 64420
