Handbill advertising the train stop for dinner at the Depot Hotel and Eating House, Elko, Nevada. Depot Hotel Co., Ostreicher & Mayer, Managers. 8 x 5.5" Toning, creases, pencil writing (numbers) covers the back. Ostreicher owned the Depot Hotel next to the railroad tracks in Elko. In 1876, he bought the Gem Saloon and Hotel and ran it with VC Bartlett. Ostreicher bought out Bartlett in 1892 from the Gem. In 1896, he sold the Depot Hotel and Saloon. The Bartlett & Ostreicher Gem Saloon whiskey bottles are incredibly rare. For more info on Ostreicher, please see Volume One of the Nevada Bottle Book.
