A very Rare 19th century “Quick Silver” Mercury flask. This flask is for 76lbs of “Quick Silver”(Mercury) Mercury was used to extract Gold from crushed rock during the Comstock years. This flask is well over 100 years old .It is 5 inches in diameter and is 12 inches tall. It is made of steel and weighs approximately 5 lbs. It has a screw on lid with an 19th century chain.
