1) Silver Monarch Mining Company. # 327 for 20 shares dated January 21, 1879, and issued to Joseph Goddard, trustee. Location Humboldt Co, Nevada. Signed Grant Lapham secretary and R. Bush president. Right fold separated and repaired with museum quality tape. Printed by A. L. Bancroft SF. Located in the Central Mining District near Mill City. The Daily Alta California reported that the Silver Monarch was the principal mine in the district with assays at an average of $160 per ton. More information on the Silver Monarch included. 2) Arthur Consolidated G&S. Location: Mount Rose Mining District, Nevada. # 33 for 250 shares to Thomas Ryan. Incredibly RARE dateline Paradise, Nev. Dated April 3, 1879. Signed by secretary Harry Warren and president (?). The Mount Rose district was located on the edge of Paradise Valley north of Winnemucca. Paradise was a short-lived mining camp but settled in to support the many ranches in the area. Secretary Harry Warren would be the last editor/owner of the Paradise Reporter.
