1) Goldfield Ledge. #1686, issued to Albert Partridge for 250 shares in 1907. Signed by Boyd Skelton and Houlette. Skelton was the owner of the Portland Paving Company in Denver. The company had 12 patented claims in the Goldfield district with gold and silver ores. Despite an intensive advertising campaign in eastern newspapers, the Mines Directory reported that not much development had been done. 2) Goldfield United. # 166 for 5,000 shares to Alfred Stretz in 1905. Signed by Donnelly and Miller. But of all the names above it was the treasurer, Molly O'Bryan, whose rags to riches story is most interesting. Notes on Molly O'Bryan and what little there was to find on the mine are included. Very nice. 3) Goldfield Comstock. # 478 for 100 shares to M. M. Longhrey on August of 1905. Signed by Major and Campbell. Dateline Colorado Springs, Colorado. Underground mining vignette including miner with pneumatic drill. They had two claims: one in the Tule Canyon Mining District and one in the Goldfield Mining District. The Tule Canyon mine was located near Pigeon Spring. Campbell (bio included) was a well known mining man from the Colorado Springs/Cripple Creek area. Research notes on people, mine, Tule Canyon district, Pigeon Springs and all mines included.
