This lot has three boxes of "20 Cartridges/ Ball/ Caliber .30 M2" ammunition from WW2. One box is open to reveal 20 rounds of .30-06 marked "E W 43" meaning Eau Claire Wisconsin 1943. All have sealed primers. "Lot E.W. 28195". A second box is marked "alternative" which means there is more metal in the jacket of the bullet to help save copper during the war effort. Unopened and marked "Lot S.L. 7127" meaning St. Louis ordnance plant. A third unopened box is marked "Lot L.C. 13144" indicating the Salt Lake City Ordnance Plant. Three boxes from three different ordnance plants all with the familiar red stripe indicating ball ammunition. c.1942-1944. No sales to New York, New Jersey, California, and Hawaii.
