This is a lot of 89, approximately 2-inch-diameter, fully enameled, cupronickel challenge coins produced for the 781st Test Squadron at Holloman Air Force Base near Alamogordo, New Mexico. The obverse features the logo design of the Test Squadron with the Zia Sun above a stylized antenna. The words PRESENTED BY THE COMMANDER appear at the top rim and 781ST TEST SQUADRON at the bottom. The reverse has a reddish brown ram's head in the upper left and a cartoonish running "Ratscat" caricature in the lower right. The top rim reads NATIONAL RADAR CROSS SECTION TEST FACILITY and the bottom rim reads INVISUS INDESTRICTUS. There is a unique one-or- two-digit number on the left side of the reverse. We did not determine which numbers are present or missing. The edge of the coin is smooth with no lettering. State: New Mexico City: Holloman AFB Date:
