This small broadside is for a new type of life preserver. It is simply a coat that you wear and allows anyone to go about his work. He lists seven Bar pilots who have purchased a coat. However, reviews of the time were not so complimentary and this invention seems to have disappeared quickly. Great piece of history. 9 x 5.5". Top left is town. Photo of three people wearing the coat. Broadside is dated February 16, 1912. On April 15, 1912 the Titanic went under. Too bad these preservers weren't available.
