Published by F. Boegle, Virginia, Nev. in 1889, this 158 page, 5 x 7 inch booklet written by Territorial Enterprise newspaperman Dan DeQuille covers the "Mineral and Agricultural Resources of Silver Land." DeQuille speaks to the surrounding geography, topography, cities, rivers and economy of the region. Dan DeQuille's real name was William Wright, but he and fellow writer Sam Clemens (Mark Twain) took pen names while at the Enterprise. Twain helped DeQuille finish and publish" A History of the Big Bonanza" in 1876. DeQuille wrote for the Enterprise for 30 years, but by the time this volume was published, the mining boom was waning.
