This is a 37mm medal that commemorates the 1967 dedication of the new facilities of the American Numismatic Association in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The medal is presumably silver, however no indication of medal content is given on the obverse or reverse. The edge is concealed by the approximately 4x5-inch acrylic Capital-style encasement held together by four 3/8-inch aluminum screws.

The obverse shows a depiction of the new building with Pikes Peak in the background and the words, "AMERICAN NUMISMATIC ASSOCIATION" at the top edge and "HOME and HEADQUARTERS BUILDING DEDICATED JUNE 10, 1967" below the building. The reverse, visible through the back of the encasement, is a map of North America with rays emanating from a dot labeled "Colorado Springs, Colorado" and the words, "FOR ADVANCEMENT IN NUMISMATICS" in the Pacific Ocean.

This is from the liquidation of Northwest Territorial Mint. Date: 1967 City: Colorado Springs State: Colorado HWAC# 77115
