This is a photo album of the Abolitionist John Brown descendants. A total of about 150 photographs and real photo postcards. Most, if not all, are dated and cataloged with the person in the photo. Many from their residence on Put-in-Bay, Ohio. The family would later move to California finding refuge from both fame and retribution. Several members of the family are buried in Saratoga, Cal. Annie, the farm look-out before the raid, and the last of John Brown's daughters, passed on in 1926. c. 1910-1920.
