1) Adelaide Copper in the Gold Run Mining District. Number 26 issued for 100 shares to the company president Roulstone in San Francisco on August 28, 1888. Incorporated March 21, 1888. Signed by secretary Alfred S. Bates and president A. J. Roulstone. Not cancelled. Roulstone was a long-time resident of Elko County. "The Gold Run District, in which the most important property is the Adelaide mine, 11 miles nearly due south of Golconda, is on the east slope of the northern part of the Sonoma Range. Entire reports from Hall and Hussey included. Couch and Carpenter report a gross yield of $119,491 from 1878 to 1914. It was not only a long producing claim, but quite valuable with a gross yield of $3,690,000 in today's money.
