Lot of nine includes eight admission tickets to the Sutro Baths, built in 1896, and burned down in 1966. Tickets include five 1-3/4 x 2 inch stubs and three heavy cardboard 1-3/4 x 3-3/4 tickets. Also includes one red plastic tag or ticket to Playland at the Beach, which opened in 1928 and closed in 1972. The Sutro Baths was a large, privately owned public saltwater swimming pool complex in the Lands End area of the Outer Richmond District in western San Francisco, California. The facility burned down in June 1966 and is now in ruins within the Golden Gate National Recreation Area and the Sutro Historic District.

Playland at the Beach was a 10-acre seaside amusement park located next to Ocean Beach, in the Richmond District at the western edge of San Francisco, California along Great Highway where Cabrillo and Balboa streets are now.
