1)Ajax=Nevada GMC. Located at Brunswick, Nevada in the Delaware Mining District (printed upper right) which was located in Ormsby and Douglas County. Vignette looks like a mine and mill operation (the Ajax=Nevada?) on the Carson River. Number 118 issued for 500 shares to the president, Robert Fulstone, on Dec. 27th, 1913 in Carson City. Signed by Fulstone and George Sanford. Not cancelled. Green border and seal, mining vignette. Folds. Sanford was sent to Carson City by an Eastern newspaper to report Nevada mining news. He soon became the District Attorney. Fulstone was a long time Ormsby County rancher. Despite sources saying the 'the gold bug never bit him,' we have proof otherwise. 2) Longfellow GM&M. Located at Carmen Heights in the Red Canyon Mining District. Douglas Co. printed on seal. Issued for 20,400 shares to secretary E.W. Carman in Gardnerville on Feb. 18th, 1908. Also signed by president G.S. Newcomb. Incorporated in 1908. Pen cancelled. Gold border, black print, three mining vignettes. Folds, some toning. Historical notes on Carmen, Fulstone, the two mines and mining districts. Six pages.
