Alabama Mining Co. Stock Certificate – Flowery Mining District, Storey County, Nevada – G.T. Brown Design - Certificate No. 1229 for 100 shares made out to William H. McClintock, Trustee datelined San Francisco April 10, 1876. Incorporated Dec. 6th, 1875, and capitalized at $10,000,000; 100,000 shares at $100 per. Signed by secretary, William McClintock and president, D. L. McDonald. Dewitt L. McDonald was a mining finance man in S.F. and an officer of other Comstock companies. McClintock was a professional mining secretary. The Alabama was a patented claim joining the Lady Bryan to the east. Ornate design by well-known artist G.T. Brown; Vignette of eagle left.
