1) Alamosa Cover with Contents on Buying and Selling Mining Property. Dated 1885; six years after a post office was granted. Includes a letter on the mines in the Music Pass District. Letter is addressed to lawyer Nat. Nathan and is from EH Strong. Strong notes that his partner, CF Holby, had passed away and the he, Strong, had the rights to several mines in the district. Letter has been transcribed in full and makes very interesting reading. Cover has a corner Advertisement for JA Gale in Alamosa. Addressed to Nat. Nathan. Date Oct. 30th, 1885. 2) 1890 Alamosa cover. Corner advertising of the Perry House, H Bachus proprietor. Dated Sep. 12, 1890. Strong strike and cancel.
