Coleman Mining District, Lyon County, Nev. (printed at bottom center). Not found in Tingley, Carson, Paher, Ansari, Church Lincoln, etc. Incorporated March 1872. # 48 for 5 shares to Theo. Stone on April 30, 1872. Signed by president J. H. H. Williams and secretary Geo. R. Spinney. Not cancelled. Ornate black border and company logo. No vignette. Printed by Wheeler, Phelan & Co., SF. One 25 cent US revenue stamp attached on the left. Pinholes, folds, border trimmed tight all the way around. The Coleman district was about 20 miles south of Gold Hill. Little is known about the Alaska Consolidated except an 1872 article in the Gold Hill Daily news in which they say some high-grade ore form the mine was shown in the office.
