Considerable exploratory work was done on the Alaska Treasure prospect in 1905. A 20 stamp mill was completed in 1906. In 1907 the mine was closed. In 1909 the mine was re-opened by a group of Englishmen. 25 men were at work on the tunnel. By 1910 the tunnel had reached 3,100'. In 1911 the English backers withdrew.
