Cert. #29, issued to Mrs. Albe Holmes and signed as Albe Holmes as president. The certificate was issued for 1000 shares at Deadwood. Oval vignette of a millsite scene. Albe Holmes was one of the first to arrive in Dakota Territory and arrived on the second stagecoach. Holmes was the superintendant of the Two Johns mine located at Crow Hill. Later, he was one of 62 cowboys in Seth Bullock's Cowboy Brigade, which rode in the 1905 Inaugural Parade to honor Teddy Roosevelt. EF condition. Uncancelled.
