The Taschen Posterbook contains six Vargas prints: Feline Entre-Act 1919, the Spanish Gipsy 1928, Diana The Huntress 1929, Redhead on the Beach 1950, Ivory and Black 1950, En Garde Marilyn Monroe 1957, published in 1991 by his great niece. A second Taschen Posterbook is incomplete with three prints. There are two loose prints: Redhead on the Beach, and the Patriot Girl poster with prose by Phil Stack originally published by Esquire. All large format of 12 inches X 17 inches in color that cover his career. Alberto Vargas popularized the female form in the 1940's through Esquire Magazine and later in Playboy Magazine in the 1960's and 1970's. Similar poses and themes were used as nose art on WW2 aircraft. Please see photos for details.
