Signed by president William Lapham and secretary W.C. Bowing. Not cancelled. Black border and print on light pink paper. Small mining vignette. Tribune Print, Salt Lake. Folds, light wear. 5 x 9.5" Osceola was a placer mining camp in Nevada. Water had to be brought there via an 18 mile canal system that cost $250,000 and employed about 300 laborers, including many Chinese and Western Shoshone and Southern Paiute Indians.
