Green border and print, mining vignette. Folds, rips and tears along right border. 2) No. 23, issued to company president HA Stiles for 1,000 shares in 1881 in Philadelphia. Signed by Stiles and Williams. Not cancelled. Red border and print, same vignette. Folds, clean. The company was formed to work 1,000 ft. on the Algonquin Lode, Granite County, lying near the Trout and the Franklin Mines at Philipsburg. JK Pardee was hired as superintendent.
