Lot of over 90 vintage postcards from the San Gabriel Valley town of Alhambra. Street scenes, residences, schools, churches. One of the residences is an exterior view of the Villa Brunner (called that from 1905 to 1927 during which time it was owned by the Brunners, it was then torn down), north side of Main Street just east of the Southern Pacific Railroad crossing. The residence which gave Alhambra its name. Called "The Alhambra," it was the first important residence in Alhambra.
