A 1790 almanac by N. Strong, professor of mathematics and natural philosophy at Yale College, printed in Hartford by printer Elisha Babcock. Strong predicts the weather of the year on a day-to-day and month-to-month timeframe. Also included are lists of some court sessions in Vermont, Massachusetts, and New Hampshire. Passages meant to entertain, such as the proposal of a tax on nagging to be paid by wives, are included after the informational section. Thread that initially bound the almanac is almost entirely gone, but all pages remain arranged in order; pages are darkened with time and worn around edges, but all text remains legible. [
