Not cancelled. Ornate logo and border. Printed by Wm. H. Thomas, NY. Folds, creased corner. 6.25 x 11" This mine was not in our indexes and could not be precisely located. The 1879 Colorado Mining Directory lists an Alpine mine on Mt. Lincoln, Consolidated Montgomery Mining District, Park County near Alma (pg. 326). Samuel P. Conger was the president of the Boulder County Mining, Tunneling, Milling, Land & Town Company in 1879. Was this a Boulder County mine? In any case, this is absolutely a Colorado mine.
