Inc. in the Territory of Arizona. No. 1278, issued for 300 shares to WM Watson in 1906. Signed by the president and secretary. Not cancelled. Attractive, over-sized certificate with brown border, red and black print, and four vignettes: great birds-eye vignette of the mountains and town of the company (labelled), plus three smaller vignettes (two mining and one locomotive). Many folds, creases, light toning. 9.25 x 13" According to Northwest Mining Journal, Volumes 1-2 (1906), the company operated claims on Cedar Creek, 10 miles south of Iron Mountain in Missoula County. They had 1,000 acres for a townsite at Amador and a 10 mile railroad from the town to the mine (seen in the stock's vignette!). The 1910 Copper Handbook reports the company is bankrupt.
