Three different mine stock certificates from Amador County, California. Mine stock certs include 1) Bunker Hill Consolidated Mining Company (1899). 2) Herbertville Quartz Mining Company (1855). The city of Herbertville began in 1851 and was named after reverend Lemuel Herbert, who was an owner of Spring Hill Mine. It is now a ghost town. According to the Sacramento Daily Union, March 8th, 1859, the Herbertville Quartz Mining Co. took out $4,750 in the month of February, a "good beginning." On July 1st of the same year, the same newspaper reported a yield of $6,500 from their operation on Sutter Creek. and 3) Oneida Gold Mining (1902). All in nice condition. Please see photos for more details.
