Certificate #1984 from the Oneida Gold Mining and Milling Company issued in 1900. Issued for 10 shares to Joseph H. Mooser, Trustee who also signs here as the corporate secretary. Also signed by the company president (illegal). Unusual certificate has dividend coupons attached at the bottom and looks like a bond. But the certificate is common stock. The Oneida mine dates back to 1851 and produced through 1914. Located 1 _ miles north of Jackson, Cal., the mine produced $2.5 million (amadorgold.net). Two small tears on top edge repaired archaically on the back. Also some slight browning. Date 1900 Jackson, CA hwac 8717
