This first printing of the book "America's Battle for Cuba's Freedom" was written by Gonzalo de Quesada and Henry Davenport Northrop in 1898. The volume is with a red cloth cover, no DJ, 768 pages, illustrated. The front cover depicts the Cuban flag with horseback insurgents. Inscribed in the inside cover "(illegible) Miss Essex Havana 1899". Good binding, overall condition very good. 6.5 in. X 8.5 in.
